The Justice of God

Justice is something most of us those don't associate with the Bible or God. We think of God as a loving, caring God. We do think of Him as a just God, however, not in the form of One who has the right to take vengeance on His enemies.

This is an irony in itself. God is the only One who has the right to judge, but many don't believe He is about vengeance. In Deuteronomy, He says that vengeance is His. Justice is throughout the Bible, whether it is criminal justice, judgements by appointment judges, or Godly judgement in Revelation.

Job 8:3 Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?
No, He does not. His brand of justice is that of a loving Father to His Earthly Children, or Judge to those who are wicked and ungodly. Godly justice is fair and righteous. It may take longer than some think, but justice comes on time. The punishments definitely fit the crimes.

Bible Verses concerning Judgement
Job 8:3
Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

Psalm 82:3
Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

Genesis 18:19
For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

King of Kings and Lord of Lords
2 Chronicles 9:8 Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.
