I haven't had any thought that I would consider bothersome though I do obsess about budgeting.  I budget and budget until it does bother me.  It is more of a compulsion than an obsession.  The problem is that it is not an obsession so I wonder if I can even ask if I can answer what the significance is.  I guess it is significant in the grand scheme of things but too much budgeting can cause confusion as to which budget to follow.  It doesn't always change anything and it does have some value, though.   The only thing I can do is just stop budgeting and move on to something else.
